DISCUSSION:
Warrior Notes is about the whole body of Christ, not just through a certain individual or group. I was sent back to build up the body. I don't have criticism, and I don't sit around on the sidelines. I’ve come to you to help you. We at Warrior Notes love all of you all over the world. We want to build you up and tell you that you can do this and have this as well.

People will say, “I wish I had what you had,” and “I'd like to be able to walk with God like you do,” but I'm just like you, and most ministers won't tell you that. I want you to participate in what God has for you. We're going to build each other up and see God use us. When Jesus hung on the cross, He did it for all, not just a certain group of people.

GLORIOUS RICHES
Philippians 4:19 NLT:
And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus

I read this verse for many years, and it was a happy verse. It was an exciting verse for me. However, a banker, or a person who handles money, a person who handles property, or a person who can give out benefits or give you that grant or loan, may see this a different way. When Paul was writing this, he was talking about an actual transaction. Paul is saying the same God that I serve can take care of you and take care of me. The same God that you serve can take care of you just like I am being taken care of. Then he says God will supply all your needs from His glorious riches..

When we talk, we sometimes say the words “to,” “for,” or “from” to express the meaning of what we are saying. For example, the verse in Hebrews 1:14, is quoting Psalms. It talks about the angels sent to minister for those who are going to inherit Salvation. It doesn't say to minister to those that are going to inherit Salvation. It says to Minister for, and that is a totally different word, and it's saying a totally different thing. When people quote that, they misquote it, because if you study it out, what it’s saying is that the angels are partnering with you. You're actually the one that's in authority and you're being sent. You're the sent one. There's never been an angel that was an apostle. Only human beings can be apostles. The angels are sent to minister for the sent ones; the prophets or the evangelists or the pastors, teachers or the single moms who have prophets in their house, in their womb, and they're raising them up. It's for everybody.

Paul here is talking about a transaction. It's saying God will supply your needs from (an account), Paul calls “glorious riches.” If you would go to a bank, the bank's name is “glorious riches.” You have to think that way because that's how it is. It's a storehouse; God has a treasure because He's very wealthy. He has everything. When He built this Earth, He made this earth, He made it so there'd be no needs for Adam and Eve and all the children that would ever live. It was set up so that Adam and Eve would never have to work, and they would always have an inheritance to give to their children. They would live forever. In the Garden of Eden, you didn't have to work. It was because they were withdrawing from the glorious riches. Now we have to make a transaction, and we have to work in a broken system down here. We have giving and receiving down here, but we didn’t have to do anything in the beginning. It was just a constant flow.

The same thing happens with healing. If you don't believe and do something about it, you may not get healed. You have to believe. You have to engage with God from His promises. That's the frame of mind that I want you to get back into, as we study this.

God is ministering to our needs out of His glorious riches. In other words, there has to be a transaction that comes to pass. It's spoken all through Paul's writings, and it's in Peter's writings, as well, but you won't catch it if you don't read slowly. If you're just trying to memorize verses, that's fine, but are they changing you? Are you encountering transformation? God wants all of us to walk in transformation. I've met people in other countries that don't have what we have access to here in the United States, but they are all on the same page, they have big churches, and they all get along with each other. I was wondering, how do they know how things work? The spirit would move there, and the power of God was much stronger than in the United States. It was rare for anyone to stay seated in a service there, and they did not have hands laid on anyone. The power of God was so strong that I would walk by, and people would fall out under the anointing as I was preaching.

Here in America, everyone just sits and stares at you in a service. We know that all of you in other countries are very hungry. You don't have the same inhibitions that we do here. When people in other countries have somebody come and speak they draw from it immensely because they know that you’ve been sent to their country. We would see so many miracles. People were healed of incurable diseases, and they would never have hands laid upon them.

I remember, I would just point and say, there's an angel behind you, because a little angel would walk in and stand beside a person, and I would say, “You have a back problem, and you're being healed right now.” We were in other countries where almost 500 people in the congregation had demons leave them. I wondered what did I even say? It was through a translator. I just said, Blood of Jesus or in the name of Jesus, and I commanded all the demons to leave. I thought maybe a couple demons would come out with little coughs, but no, people were throwing up. I thought to myself 500 people were there, and they all wanted to come. I realized that we have to tap in and make a transaction from God's glorious riches, just knowing a couple verses isn’t going to work anymore. You need to tap into everything. If you're not going to allow God to supply all your needs, then you're going to stay right where you are, and you're not going to be everything that the Lord Jesus has written about you.

HE IS OUR PROVIDER
2 Peter 1:3 NLT: By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence.

Everything comes by His divine power. God has given us everything we need for living a Godly life. I had one person tell me recently, “Of all the customers we have, you're the only one that pays your bills for your jet early.” He said, “I've been in the industry for many years, and I've never seen anybody do what you do.” I said, well, “I want to live a Godly life, the main thing I can do is can I keep my word?” I said, “Part of living a Godly life is paying your bills and being on time.” There are certain things that God would do. He wouldn't be in debt to anybody. He wouldn't be late. He wouldn't say something and not do it.

Peter is talking about living a Godly life. Of course, He wants you to pay your bills, but you can get to a place where you can pay somebody else's bills as well. That to me, is what the ministry is all about; it’s about everything we need for living a Godly life. It could be in the physical as well. God wants you to be able to do things for others. It comes by His divine power. He gives us everything we need to live this Godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know the one who’s called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. When you get to Heaven, you're going to see how excellent God is and that there is no need. You're going to see that we've been given all these things. Paul said, “We've been given all of these things, the supply from His glory through Jesus Christ.”

When you accepted Jesus, you received more than just avoiding going to hell. What about the needs you have like feeding your kids and clothing for them? You will need money, and provision. Those are physical, not spiritual. You can teach your kids how to pray, but they're going to need to eat, and they’ll need new jeans. It's very expensive to take care of others in your family. If it's just you, then that's only one pair of pants, but when you have kids, it's three or four pairs of pants and kids pants last maybe a week or two, not to mention the shoes and everything else you need. God cares about your life down here physically as well, and He wants to help.

In this transaction where God provides our needs and wants through His glorious riches, how does He say we receive them?

CHRIST IS ALL THAT MATTERS
Colossians 3:11
NLT:
In this new life, it doesn’t matter if you are a Jew or a Gentile, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbaric, uncivilized, slave, or free. Christ is all that matters, and he lives in all of us.

There was a big fight going on at the time because the Jews who had converted, were called messianic Jews, but they still practiced their Jewish beliefs. Paul didn't divide between race and color, or Jew or Gentile, he was speaking about your new life in Christ.

Peter was told in a vision to kill and eat, and there were unclean animals in that vision. Some people would judge that vision, but God corrects and says through His word; don't call unclean what I've called clean (Acts 10:15). Why was he saying that? It's because you can have this too.
,
You're not going to be excluded because you're not Jewish or because of the color of your skin or if you're male or female. Paul is saying that whether your slave or free or barbaric or civilized, you believe in Jesus Christ, and that's all that matters. He lives in us, and this is the key because the transaction needs to start in your heart. You need to decide that God is going to meet all your needs and your wants.

Psalms 23:1 says, “the Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want anything.”

I know that one is in the Old Testament, but if you look up the Hebrew word “want” and then you look up the word “need” that Paul and Peter talk about, it covers everything, because God is not restricting you from receiving like you may have encountered when you were brought up.

We need to give God permission to use us, but not use us as a slave. We are children and He wants to take care of us like a Father that loves us. People say, “I can't work because I'm in the Ministry. People who are in the ministry, think they can't work. What if Christ wants you to take a job just so you can witness to people so that they can get saved? That has happened numerous times with Kathi and me. We both took jobs, and I have a job now, and I'm still witnessing to people even though they don't want me to. I'm retired and I'm still working and sharing the gospel with people.

It may be that God wants you to draw these lines. It may be that you're supposed to work and be a minister. You can work and minister and you can minister and work. God needs a way to bring prosperity into your life. He needs an avenue. Let Him make that decision for you because it may be your mission field.

When I was at Southwest Airlines, the Lord corrected me one night in a hotel room. He said, “This job is your mission field. It's not your source. The reason you're here is that I sent you here.” He appeared to me and told me I was going to work instead of going into the ministry, and that Southwest was not my source of income; it was my mission field. He said, “There are at least seven different avenues of wealth that I've already labeled as conduits,” and that's what He’s done for us. He’s done amazing things because we didn't restrict Him.

When you talk about this, just know that there is a religious spirit that will tell you that you can't do certain things. If I were to sit and talk with you, I would ask and want to know why you’d say that you can't do this and who was it that told you, you can’t? Because, when the Spirit of God comes, He sets you free. I want to know if the Spirit is leading you to do certain things. I'm talking about how the Lord told me to take jobs and work, and I didn't need the work. I didn't need the income, but I am seeing people get saved. I've taken passengers while I'm working, and they’re partners of our ministry, and, they’ll say, “I have your book.” I was their pilot on the airplane and I was taking them somewhere, and they didn't know that it was my airplane, but they’ll say, “I have his book, or I know that person, that pilot; that's Kevin.” They may have seen me on TV, or YouTube, and this is what God wants you to do. He wants you to be in the marketplace. Maybe God has an avenue of meeting your needs that’s involved in an act of obedience and you’re doing something that He hasn't said for you to do. Let God dictate your boundaries by His Word.

DISCUSS:
1. What is it that you may be doing that is limiting God?

2. Share some stories of how God showed you where your provision was, and how He wants to take care of you.

3. Talk about the storehouse in Heaven that God has for you. How can you participate in that?

4. Pray for each other.

PRAYER:
Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank You so much for ministering to all of our Warrior Fellowships all over the world, all of our partners, all of our students all over the world. Father God, You are the best, Father. You take care of us. You would never, ever want us to go without eating or being clothed. You would never want us to be sick. You would never want us to feel lonely. Father, I just ask that you minister to everybody right now. The body of Christ needs to rise up and fulfill its mission. Don't wait for the five-fold ministries to do this. We need to do this for each other. We need to build each other up. Father, right now, I asked by Your spirit that there would be a revelation of the Spirit of God right now in everybody's heart, that they're loved. You're a good God. You want to take care of them, and You wouldn't give them a snake if they asked for a stone. You wouldn't deny Your own, Father. And so, Lord, I can feel the love and the power of God right now. I just thank you, Lord, you're touching everyone and Warrior Fellowships in Jesus name. Amen.
